The 49th edition of the spring cycling classic Velká Bíteš – Brno – Velká Bíteš, held on March 30, 2025, marked the opening race of the ŠKODA Cup series. The event, organized by TJ Favorit Brno, attracted top Czech and international riders to the scenic yet challenging route through South Moravia.
In a tightly contested race, Daniel Turek of ATT Investments claimed his first-ever victory in this prestigious event. He completed the course in 3 hours, 42 minutes, and 10 seconds, narrowly edging out teammate Dominik Neuman, who finished just three seconds behind. Jakub Ťoupalík from Elkov-Kasper secured third place, rounding out the podium.
The race featured a strong field of elite and U23 riders, with teams like Elkov-Kasper, Voster ATS, and Mazowsze Serce Polski all represented. The peloton faced a mix of rolling terrain and tactical challenges, with the decisive moves coming in the final kilometers.
Turek’s win not only gave ATT Investments a strong start to the ŠKODA Cup season but also highlighted his experience and tactical acumen in one of the Czech Republic’s most iconic one-day races.
