On January 24, 2025, the renowned Streif piste in Kitzbühel hosted an exhilarating Super G race as part of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. Swiss skier Marco Odermatt emerged victorious, clocking in at 1:13.25. Odermatt’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, as he managed to secure his first-ever win on this challenging course

Austria’s Raphael Haaser finished a close second, just 0.11 seconds behind Odermatt, while Switzerland’s Stefan Rogentin claimed the third spot, trailing by 0.30 seconds.

The race was marked by several crashes, including those of Alexis Pinturault and Florian Loriot, which led to significant delays.
